After completing the “Forklift: Theory” training, you will have a thorough understanding of the guidelines and safety regulations for operating a forklift truck. You will gain insight into how a forklift works, how to organise a safe workplace, and how to carry out forklift operations correctly. You will also learn how to properly inspect and maintain a forklift truck. With this solid theoretical foundation, you will be fully prepared for the practical forklift assessment, which is closely aligned with real-life workplace situations.

With this e-learning course, you learn at your own pace, when and where you want. You can follow the course on your PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Your e-learning will remain available via your Securex Academy learning environment for one year.

After the course, you will receive a participation certificate.

The following topics are covered in this training:
  • Introduction and accidents;
  • Driver requirements;
  • Forklift basics;
  • Proper use;
  • Safe working environment;
To pass this theory course, you need to score at least 80 percent on the quiz at the end of the e-learning module and then pass the final exam.

Please note:
To obtain the legally required forklift operators certificate, you must also pass a practical test after completing this theory course. Only if you pass, will you receive a valid five-year certificate.
