What can you expect?
This refresher course is intended for all employees who have already obtained a BA4 Certificate and who carry out non-electrical work in the vicinity of electrical installations, perform minor tasks on power-isolated electrical installations under the supervision of a competent BA5 certificate holder, or work in areas where electrical risks or hazards are temporarily or permanently present or may occur.
After completing the Refresh Attestation BA4 - alerted person, you will have sufficient knowledge to safely perform limited electrical tasks. You will learn how to reset protective devices, replace switchboard components, and safely install or replace de-energised electrical equipment such as light switches, power outlets, lighting fixtures, cables, insulation and temporary site distribution boards. In addition, you will receive a training certificate and a template for your BA4 authorisation certificate. Finally, you will be provided with practical guidance sheets, including “What to do in the event of a power outage?” and “How to safely replace a light bulb?”, enabling you to immediately apply the knowledge gained during the training.
With this e-learning course, you learn at your own pace, when and where you want. You can follow the course on your PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Your e-learning will remain available via your Securex Academy learning environment for one year.
After the course, you will receive a participation certificate.
